How long do I have to resubmit my Scholar Application?

Scholar Applications should be resubmitted within 5 calendar days from the time you are first notified via email. VA Ready will send you several emails and text messages to remind you of this deadline. Depending on when your class starts you could have longer than 5 calendar days to resubmit.

What if I upload the wrong documents?

For the Sign Up Application: If you uploaded the incorrect document(s) the Student Journey Team will make a note in your account and put your Sign Up Application back in draft status so that you can upload the correct document(s). I didn’t finish the class I originally started, but I am now registered for a new one. Can I just fill out the Certification Form for the new class?

No. You will have to reapply (within 5 days of your new course starting) and be accepted into the VA Ready program for your new course. VA Ready can only provide you the $1000 Credential Achievement Award for the course you originally signed up for in our system.
